Merlin Series 4 Finale Review

Beware....major spoilers alert!!! Stop reading if you don't wish to know.

Last Sunday was the series finale on BBC 1. I glued myself in front of my laptop waiting for Merlinjunkie to upload the much anticipated episode. Usually, each episode would be uploaded around 6-7 am (Malaysian time). But i guess bcoz of the Christmas thingy, he uploaded the episode the next day. I was on hot seat coz I was leaving for S'pore that morning. I needed to know the ending. The lady luck was smiling on me that day, i managed to see the whole episode through LegendaryBadGirl channel.

I'll start with the recap...

1. Arthur and Guinevere were reunited after the Lancelot/Guinevere affair thing. They shared a short but sweet hug. Turned out, she was living in Ealdor with Merlin's mom after her banishment.

2. However, Arthur totally ignored her the next couple of days. He said the hug was a moment of weakness on his part. He will never forget what Guinevere did.

3. Merlin summoned the Great Dragon to help.

4. Agravaine knew Merlin was a sorceror after witnessing his enchantment. Merlin killed him after that. Go Merlin!!!

5. Arthur pulled out Excalibur from the rock.... with Merlin's help, of course.

6. Tristan and Isodle joined Arthur's quest to save Camelot.

7. Arthur met Morgana 4 the first time after her betrayal.

8. Morgana's magic did not work as Dragoon The Great/Old Merlin put a spell on her first.

9. Isodle died while trying to save Arthur. She died in the arms of Tristan. Arthur felt bad and thought about him n Guinevere.

10. He proposed for the second time... and she said YES!!!

11. Arthur and Gwen got married and she was crowned Guinevere, Queen of Camelot... GO ARWEN!!!!
12. Before i forget, Morgana was still alive and being saved by the baby dragon... Ughhhh.

So, how do i find the finale? I think it was ok. Arthur should already be a lill suspicious of Merlin by now. What i dont like is we are still back at square one where Morgana is still evil and very much alive. It's like the beginning of Series 3 and 4. Plus, the wedding and coronation were too short. Come on, i waited 9 months for this and they gave us a 2 minutes scene.. Waaaaaa

So, another 9 months to wait for the next Series... Hmmmm Sighhh

Hmmm... another love story to tell.. Maybe Cupid should give me some credits for the past few entries. I even change my header because there's too much love in the air rite now. :)

25th December 2011, marks the bond and love between those two love birds. Heavy traffic jam at the Causeway did not prevent my family and I to co-celebrate this joyful event.

Meet my gorgeous cuzzy, Kak Uda. She's Pak Lan's second dotter btw.

Her fiance's flight was due at 11 pm that nite. So, there goes our chance to meet him. We haven't meet him as he works in Perth. Looks like my big family will only get to see him on 25 May to meet him officially.

Keluar tajuk jap. Meet my cousin's son, Rui Bin Ahmad Zaidi. His mom is a Japanese and his dad is a Jawa.. :) Hahaha Super kawaaiii..

When ur younger sister got married first....

I bet lots of u girls out there are pretty scared of this situation. Well... i am one of u guys too.

Growing up, I had imagined different kind of sequence for my family's life. I meet my Mr. Right. Then, I marry him. Then, I have his children (maybe 2). and then, my lill sister's turn to get her happily ever after ending.



Well, that's sure not gonna happen.

She found her soulmate first. No doubt, i am so happy for her. Without her asking, i step up to help her to plan her perfect wedding. I am more than happy to lend my hands. But deep inside, i imagine it to be my own fairy tale wedding. But i have to admit, sometimes the whole process is a lill bit overwhelming.

No. 1 : Uninsured mouth
"Bile nak kawin? Adiknya dah lepas, kakaknya tak lepas2 lagi. Pakwe tak datang ke? Ada pakwe ke? Nak cik kenalkan tk dengan anak kawan cik? Lepas ni giliran awak la pulak. Janganlah memilih sangat. Awak tu bukanlah cantik sangat". Grrrr It drives me nuts.

No. 2 : Wedding is tiresome.
OMG. I dont even know where to start. I spent the whole month of the school holidays getting my house ready. Its been a while since our last renovation. So my mom and i had to be painters, plumbers and also carpenters at the same time. Sigh. But its all worth it.


So, Yuyul is blissfully married now and Faizul is on his way too. I love the people they married and about to be married. I'm not the "jealous" type but it really sucks to be single especially when I don't want to be.

Also, it sucks to go to gatherings because everyone is paired off except me. I hate hate hate hate it. I'd rather stay home alone. And the visitors and friends are like, "Why aren't you married yet?" Grrrr. None of your business, you toadish busybody.


Despite my feeelings yang ntah ape ape ni, I am so thrilled and excited for her. Really glad she found the love of her life. May i find mine soon too. Wish me luck k. Congrats and sincere wishes for a long and very devoted life of love and happiness. Wishing you guys a marriage filled with love and joy. Work harder!! Can't wait for lill Mazlan and Yuyul yang tersepal-sepal macam mak dia. Hehehe

Field Trip : Tak Berapa Nak USA Part 1

I know...i know.. ni entry yg sgt dah berlapuk. Ada projek besar punye. Next time i citer ape k.

This trip was one of the activities planned for the UPSR candidates rite after their exam. Sort of macam bagi diorg enjoy la. Cume pg JB je. We went to the zoo, swimming at Starhill, shopping and Petrosains JB. Eventhough it sounds boring, but sume stouties sgt enjoyzzz.. Senang cheegu dia jaga.

How's ur result?

Rasenye pegi mane2, masih sibuk org bertanya mcmane result UPSR tahun nie. Alhamdulillah, my English percentage naik almost 20%. Yang dapat A for English pn naik gak. I loikeee. School percentage pn naik area mcm tu gak. But unfortunately, 5As holders turun skit. From 5 to 4 only. 4a 1b pulak 7 org. Actually, mmg tak sangka boleh turun. Bile dpt tau keputusan tu, ada 3 candidate yang kitrg mmg confirm diorg mesti dpt 5a tp rupenya tersasar ke 4A . Mereka sgt konsisten sblm nih. Mmg sedih. Mase dpt tau, one of them meraung, one just terduduk n one more tu takde perasaan. :(

Jgn cakap mak ayah diorg, cikgu dia pn ternganga masa dapat tau (palmface). Result diorg byk crossed.

But whatever it is....
To Mehmed, Aza, Amirul and to all my stouties, it's not the end of the world. Take it as a challenge to make u guys a better person. Don't dwell on it. U guys still have a long way to go. My prayers and love goes out to all of you.

Pssst... jealous jugak tgk skolah lain English 90%++ and even 100%. Tp agak sedey bile tau Paper 1 dh bocor pd murid. Kalau budak tak pandai baca pun bole lulus English kalu cam ni. Even kalau budak tak jawab Paper 2 pun bole lulus gak kan. So mcmana nak ukur prestasi sebenar murid dan juga cikgu? Fikir-fikirkanlah.....

Ammar Hakimi Part 1

Hey guys...Just a lill update on my stouty.

He's a great kid. The one we teachers should pay attention to. For me, i think he has the great makings of a great potential one day. InsyaAllah.

Guess what? For a few times, dia dah jadi Master of Ceremony (MC) at our daily assembly. In English, mind u (facepalm). He did brilliantly. No stuttering, no nervousness and no whatsoever. However, Ammar needed a stool to stand on or he wouldn't reach the mic. Hehe I am so proud of him. I think the youngest prefect yg pernah jd MC in my school is in Year 3. Tu pun in Malay. Because of him, some of his friends came to me and asked me if they can be the MC. They wanted to be like him.

Today, he astonished me again. When i came into his classroom, he presented me a small pen as a souvenir from Malacca. He explained why he was absent the day before. Then, i thanked him for the pen and asked him about his trip. He quickly ran to his bag and showed me this...



"Ammar, you read this?"
"Yes, teacher. It's a good book. Teacher dah baca? Teacher kenal tak dia ni? Teacher tau dia dah mati?"

Cikgu tergamam sebentar. I was actually processing the whole idea of he already knew Sherlock Holmes at his young age.

Faizul & Atiah Engagement Ceremony

Yup... my baby brother is halfway hitched. My baby brother is all grown up now. It's hard to believe that this wild hooligan is going to be someone's better half soon. ;)



Our age diff is bout 4 years. Being the only kumbang, he was like the best gaduh partner for me. We used to fight a lot. Like seriously a lot. From didikan from his upright and adorable sisters, he picked up lots of girlie fighting strategy from us. Mulut dia sgt la bole tahan. and not to mention his angin pus pus... How on earth he could change his mood in a blink of an eye is still a massive mystery to my family.



Nevertheless, he went beyond our expectations. Been called the most geliga one in my family. As hard for me to admit, I think my parents esp my dad is exceptionally proud of him. I am too. But really… You are one of the best things that has ever happened to our family…and I am so proud of the man you have grown to be….



To Atiah, i dont know what u got urself into. Hahahah just kidding. Congrats and big hugs for both of u!!


My mom's eldest brother, Pak Lan came all the way from S'pore to be the head of our rombongan. He is the spitting image of my late grandfather. He takes after him too. A man of few words but we all look up to him.

She's gorgeous rite.My mom was the happiest person that day.
